Canada Day Celebrations
This all ages celebration features special events, activities, food, music and of course, lots of fun!

City of Calgary Fireworks Show
The fireworks will last 15 minutes and can be seen from anywhere along Bow River. Make sure you bring camping chairs or a blanked to sit on!

This historical event includes a free pancake breakfast, but only for the first 2,019 guests! There will also be a parade, crafts, old-fashioned games, and a BBQ.

Canada Day at the Edmonton Valley Zoo
The Edmonton Valley Zoo is turning 60 years old, so why not celebrate two milestones in one day?! There will be a scavenger hunt, crafts, cupcakes, airbrush tattoos, educational sessions, and live music.

Fort McMurray
Bannock and Pancake Breakfast
This breakfast is proudly presented by the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo along with the McMurray Metis and Fort McMurray Heritage Society. If you've never had delicious, authentically home-made bannock, now is your opportunity to try it!

Bricks 4 Kidz Canada Day Workshop
Bricks 4 Kidz is an organization that offers hands-on learning for children through the art of building Lego. They are hosting a carnival themed workshop on Canada Day and you must register in advance.

This special Canada Day sporting event features the Fort McMurray Giants, a collegiate summer baseball team, playing against the Brooks Bombers.

This is the largest Canada Day celebration outside of Ottawa. Presented by the Port of Vancouver, this free event will feature musical performances, a citizenship ceremony, family-friendly activities, food trucks, fireworks - basically everything you could ever want in a Canada Day celebration!

This free event presented by Festivals Kelowna includes activities, multi-generational performances, and family-friendly fun.

Kelowna City Band Canada Day Concert
This is also a free event happening in Kelowna on July 1 and features music from all over the world. Special guests alongside the Kelowna City Band (who are celebrating 125 years) are Justin Moore and Three to the Bar.
