Kat is one of only three individual finalists nominated for the Outstanding Customer Service Award, put on by the Tourism Industry Association of BC (TIABC). This award recognizes frontline employees whose exceptional customer service contributed to outstanding travel experiences for visitors, and we’re assured that Kat is a finalist out of many excellent nominations from throughout the province. 

 

Since launching Ebus in BC in October of 2018, Kat has been the smiling face at our Kelowna Airport (YLW) location. Since the Ebus desk is set in the middle of YLW, Kat is often asked questions not just from our own passengers, but from air travellers looking for general information within the airport as well. Always with a goal to help everyone she can, and continually responding with her calm and pleasant demeanour, Kat continuously goes above and beyond for both Ebus passengers and the general public. Kat significantly contributes to the BC tourism experience by being a superior ambassador for Ebus BC, Kelowna, and the entire province of BC.

 

The winner will be announced tonight at the Annual BC Tourism Industry Awards Gala that will be held in Victoria, BC. Good luck, Kat!
