Jack-o'-lantern in fall leaves

Do you have your Halloween costume picked out yet? The scariest time of the year is only a few weeks away, so you might want to stop into your local costume shop if you are still without costume. Of course, there are many chilling events happening that will scare the living daylight out of you. We’d love to be part of your Halloween fun and take you to these cities hosting the scariest events across BC.

Halloween Ghost Ship – Vancouver

Are you brave enough to hop onboard a Haunted Ghost Ship? This 400-person yacht becomes a spooky Halloween wonderland and dance party. The event features different music on each level, with everything from EDM and hip hop to live performances. You’ll experience three hours of cruising with a fully licensed bar and a dinner buffet. Prepare to be lost on the ocean amongst ghosts and ghouls!

Field of Screams – Kamloops

The Sunset Valley Farm transforms into a Halloween wonderland with everything from a Haunted Opera House to a Life-Sized Jack-in-the-Box. The theme is ‘Carnival Freakshow’, so if you’re scared of clowns, this would be the perfect event to give you a good scare. Presented by the Okanagan’s Ominiss Productions, the staff has the art of fear down to a science and this will literally be a field of screams.

If being constantly scared garners up an appetite, enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, mini donuts, and hot chocolate by the crackling fire. And remember to watch out for witches who may be casting spells by the fire!
