SAFETY IS AT OUR CORE

Safety has always been our first core value. The Safely Clean program is our renewed commitment to safety and getting our passengers Safely Home. Upon resuming our services, for instance, Ebus introduced a complete program dedicated to enhanced cleaning and sanitization. Above all, the preventative measures, as well as elevated protocols, ensure the safety and protection of our staff, passengers, and the communities in which we operate.

Mask Policy

Effective June 16, 2022 face masks are no longer mandatory for passengers or drivers onboard our coaches. This policy is in alignment with the Provincial legislation that has removed the measure on public transit and intercity buses. We support a mask-friendly environment and ask that everyone be respectful of others, whether they choose to wear a mask or not.

SAFELY CLEAN PROTOCOLS

To ensure your safety on the way to your next destination, Ebus implements a complete program that cleanses our coaches thoroughly.

We regularly sanitize all high touchpoint surfaces and restrooms. Additionally, we introduced electrostatic sprayers to clean in between each trip.

Electrostatic sprayers allow the sanitizers, mould preventatives, and disinfectants to evenly coat and cover all types of surfaces. In other words: a more complete clean.

SAFELY CLEAN – RESPONDING TO COVID-19

At Red Arrow and Ebus, we have been working hard to plan our return to service in a safe and responsible manner. This means:

  • Health indicators / conditions for relaunch must have been accomplished;
  • Our service offering and business activity are aligned with the publicly active Public Health Stage (1,2,3);
  • A sufficient public need for our service exists;
  • Guarantee our employees have access to personal protective equipment (PPE) suitable to their function;
  • Assurance our passengers can conform to Alberta mandated “public use of masks in specified crowded spaces, or mass transit”, and are not exhibiting symptoms of illness.

Meeting these conditions, we’re ready to support our passengers to their destination. In addition to Safety, Customer Service remains a Core Value. As such, our call centre remains open to assist passengers. As well, our social channels are active for you to follow and engage.
