Parcel Service Terms and Conditions

Before you Send Parcels With us

Parcel delivery is available only in Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray at this time. In order to ship a package you must bring it to a ticket office location, it will then be delivered to the end point ticket office location where it must be picked up. At this time this is not a door to door service.


Package Dimensions and weight limits

Maximum dimensions: 50 x 100 x 200 cm (20 x 40 x 80 in).

Maximum weight: 27.2 kg (50 lb).


Packaging Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring their packages are securely and appropriately packaged. Envelopes in paper or poly mailers. Boxes/bins for parcels.

Packaging must be strong enough to withstand transport in coach luggage holds on Alberta roads.

Packages that are inadequately packaged or pose a risk to other shipments will be refused. Plastic film-wrapped packages are not accepted.


Insurance

All permissible items are covered up to $100. Optional insurance coverage is available for a fee, up to a maximum of $1,000.


Perishable Goods

No perishable goods are allowed.

Some examples of perishable items include:

  • Fish
  • Game
  • Meat
  • Fruit
  • Vegetables


Dangerous Goods

No dangerous goods are allowed.

Some examples of dangerous items include:

  • Explosive
  • Highly flammable
  • Radioactive
  • Otherwise dangerous

Fragile or High-value items

Items valued over $1,000 are prohibited. Fragile items are uninsurable and shipped at the sender’s risk. Use high-quality packaging and request “Fragile” labels to ensure proper handling.


Package Pickup

Packages are held at the destination service point for 7 days after arrival notification. For multi-package shipments, notification is sent only when all items have arrived.


Unclaimed Packages

After 7days, unclaimed packages may be returned to the sender at their expense. If both sender and recipient refuse or cannot be reached, packages are stored for up to 30 days from the shipping date. After 30 days, unclaimed packages will be destroyed.


Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times are not guaranteed and depend on coach space availability and external factors (e.g., weather, road conditions). Recipients will be notified upon arrival at the destination service point.


Arrival Notification

Recipients will be contacted when their package arrives. Ensure the sender provides a valid phone number. Customer may also contact your service point to check arrival status.


Identification Requirements

A valid government issued ID is required to send & collect packages.

For Example, Valid Forms of Government photo I.D. are:

  • Driver’s Licence – Provincial or Territorial
  • Passport
  • Provincial or Territorial I.D. Card
  • Canadian Armed Forces I.D.
  • Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residence Card
  • Secure Certificate of Indian Status Card
  • Corrections I.D. Card
  • Federal Police I.D. Card (RCMP)
  • City Police I.D. Card

We accept either photos or photocopies of any Government Issued Photo I.D.

Customer Service

Complaints must be submitted in writing to customer service within 7 days of shipment.

Include the following:

  •   Original invoice showing item value
  •   Description and photos of damage/loss
  •   Copy of the bill of lading
  •   Full contact details
